The Puli is renowned for its dense, natural dreadlocks. These rare dogs are affectionate and nimble, though their coats demand meticulous care. Used by Hungarian shepherds, Pulis are small yet tough, standing 16 to 17 inches tall and weighing 25 to 35 pounds. Their corded fur, forming protective ropes, shields against harsh weather and predators. Energetic and adept at herding, they often try to herd their families. Lively and sharp, they bond closely with owners. Early socialization and consistent training are crucial for these independent pups.
