Simply knot one end of the string close to the tomato plant's base and fasten the other end to a sturdy object above the plant. Your tomato plants will loop themselves around the string as they get bigger. The wool string is biodegradable, so you may throw it in your compost pile when the season ends. This is an inexpensive, effective, and green method of providing your tomato plants with the care they require.
